Both Alan and Bob come from a fire service background where the ethos is one of ‘can do’.  They have carried this forward from their own companies into PEEPs and are always on call to answer their clients queries and give advice.  Part of the work ethic of the company is that once engaged, PEEPs will continue to support and provide a back up service once the initial work has been completed to ensure their clients get the best possible service.  Alan and Bob continue to work with their clients well beyond the formal contract stage at no extra cost so that they are completely happy and comfortable with their responsibilities.

PEEPs Ltd is a company that works at all levels to ensure a satisfactory outcome to personal emergency evacuation planning.  We work from an individual level (individuals with disabilities) up to the level of major organizations so that we can all reach our united goals.  Part of the company’s philosophy is to focus on persuading architects, designers, planners and employers to think about PEEPs in the design stage of buildings.  Pre-empting safe evacuation from a building, including disabled evacuation, when the building is in the design phase or is going through a major refurbishment is key.  This approach has major advantages for all concerned, the main one being that solutions can be easily predicted and implemented prior to a building being built or re-designed.  This saves the necessity to ‘back engineer’ solutions although we are happy to do these and one approach that we specialise in.

Alan and Bob have a wide and varied experience of dealing with individuals who need personal emergency evacuation plans.  They take pride in their ability to put people at their ease and make the first move in talking to them about their needs and desires for their safe evacuation from a building.  They also understand the sensitivities that are sometimes involved and have developed their own personal style of communication to ensure a proper etiquette is maintained and that friendliness along with sensitivity and confidentiality are important factors in ensuring a safe and agreeable outcome for everyone involved.
